Welcome to the Baily Thomas Provident Fund Grant Application Site

The Baily Thomas Provident Fund, is a grant-making trust dedicated to helping former employees of Mansfield Brewery PLC and its subsidiary businesses, including its pubs.

The trust is open to all eligible individuals, including their spouses/partners and dependent children. The grants are non-means tested and are awarded based on the discretion of the trustees of the trust. This means if you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for support regardless of your current financial position.

The trust is designed to assist with a range of needs and the trustees make their decisions based on the overall purpose and objectives of the trust.

The Baily Thomas Provident Fund offers grants to support with a variety of areas including:

·      Medical and dental treatment

·      Energy costs

·      Education and training including help towards university fees

·      Computer purchases such as a new laptop or tablet

·      Sports clubs and gym memberships

·      Funeral costs

·      Hardship

In addition, the trust has recently launched a range of new benefits including:

·      Health cash plan insurance to help with everyday healthcare costs

·      Financial coaching with financial experts

·      Mental health support through counselling and therapy

To apply for any of the grants or benefits available, please select the relevant application form and complete your details.

The trustees will carefully consider your application based on the information you provide.

Please avoid purchasing any goods, services or treatments prior to a grant being in place, as the trustees are unable to pay retrospective grants except in exceptional and mitigating circumstances.
